Case Study: Branding
Atlanta Girls' School
Situation
The Atlanta Girls’ School, a private school for young women grades 6-12, identified the need for a stronger brand image to differentiate it from the increasing number of private schools in Metro Atlanta. The board sought a brand identity that balanced the traditional aspects of education with the advanced teaching techniques and technology the school offers.
Objectives
- Create a clean, modern brand identity that would transfer easily to the many collateral materials a school requires and that would assist the school to achieve its business objectives:
- Increase admission inquiries and enrollment
- Increase donations to the school
- Increase awareness of the school within Metro Atlanta
Results
Max2o developed a logo that reflected the school as a modern example of higher learning. This was achieved by incorporating the laurel, the Greek symbol of excellence, in a current and stylized manner. The use of a traditional typeface and crisp clean colors completed the design. The logo and color palette were applied to advertising and collateral materials, creating a solid brand foundation for the school.
